About Emmanuel
Emmanuel United Methodist Church was founded in 1890 as a place of faith and welcome for the Mexican community in Austin. Rooted in a rich history and deep cultural heritage, the church has long been guided by hope, resilience, and trust in God. Pastors and lay leaders have worked side by side to care for families, support neighbors, and build a strong sense of belonging. Today, Emmanuel is open to people of all backgrounds across the Austin area, offering worship and ministries in both English and Spanish at the corner of Brushy and 2nd Street. You are welcome here to honor the past, celebrate culture, and grow in faith together.
